Akshay Kumar’s Rowdy Rathore did business of more than 100 crores. Once again Akshay Kumar had proved that he is an excellent crowd puller and he can still challenge Salman Khan and Amir Khan in popularity. His film Housefull 2 had also done business more than 100 crores in the past.
The film had been directed by Prabhudeva. It had been produced by Ronnie Screwala and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Yashpal Sharma, Paresh Ganatra played the major roles.
The music had been composed by Sajid Wajid. Some of the songs became hit like “chinta ta chita chita” sung by Mika Singh, Wajid; “tera ishq bara teekha” sung by Javed Ali, Shreya Ghoshal, etc. Akshay Kumar played double role in the film.
Akshay Kumar again emerged as great crowd puller.
Akshay Kumar played the role of thief named Shiva in the film. He along with Paresh Ganatra used to steal things in Mumbai. He fell in love with Sonakshi Sinha.
The other Akshay Kumar who played the role of ACP Vikram Rathore was killed by the people of Nasser, who left his daughter. Nasser’s son pretended to be mad, but once opened the clothes of police officers and humiliated them. Akshay Kumar tied him from a tree with a belt and killed him. Shiva went to the village Devgarh near Patna and took revenge against the men of Nasser.
There was serious action sequence with Mustaq Khan, and Akshay Kumar showed his martial art skills. Akshya Kumar killed both Nasser and his men by hanging the across cliff. Sonakshi Sinha’ s dream run is continuing. Her first film opposite Salman Khan did business more than 150 crores. Her second film opposite Akshay Kumar had already done business of more than 100 crores.
Akshay Kumar deserves a lot of credit for his success. A hardworking person like Akshay Kumar always gets his reward for the honest hardwork.

Akshay Kumar has a huge credit of giving 2 films in the same year Housefull 2 and Rowdy Rathore which had done business of more than 100 crores.
