Can Tiger Woods Ever Be Competitive Again?

Does Tiger still have the hunger to make a run at the Jack Nicklaus all-time Majors wins and all-time career wins record held by Sam Snead?
The Question is.. Can Tiger still be Tiger?
Tiger is making another attempt to resurrect his career this weekend at the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational. Tiger has played at the Firestone CC in Akron, Ohio where he has seven of his 71 career victories on the PGA Tour.
Not to many other places Tiger hasn't dominated at, Golf wise, but this time is different. Tiger says he is ready physically but is he ready mentally? His last outing at the The Players Championship was cut short after just 9 holes, by an Achilles tendon tear. But the Achilles wasn't the only thing fans of Tiger worried about. So the question still remains has Tiger exercised his demons?
While recuperating from injury Tiger has now cleaned house, even went as far as to fire his long time Caddy, Steve Williams. Steve Williams might have been his last thread to his former self, and previous winning ways. Perhaps cleaning his past will help to a cleaner run in the future.
Tiger comes back to Win!
Tiger has committed to winning another tour championship, which is easier said than done. Even if he does come out of his funk and pull himself together to win, he is still majors away from the record.
Tiger's friend and mentor Michael Jordan said to him that when Jordan went back to the basketball court it was therapeutic, so perhaps Tiger can find himself on the course. As Tiger is about to tee off today, and play hopefully the rest of the weekend, can he stay focused on his golf game? Tiger definitely is not hurting for money, so that's not why he is continuing to come back and play. There aren't many people left who can even say they are close to Tiger let alone confidants to tell the public, so the only way we can see if Tiger is back is by what he does on the Golf Course. I know as a fan of Golf and as a fan of Tiger, I would like to see him get back to his winning ways. Stars fall and that's just the nature of life, and Tiger's Star was at the highest point when he fell. Tiger is still the best golfer in the world regardless of rank, and Golf needs Tiger just as much as Tiger needs Golf. Here's to hoping he can get a win! Thanks for reading and Keep it Classy!

I hope he can come back, from his come back. Just a sad story actually. I will never forget though that it was Tiger that put golf on the map for most people, you gotta give the guy that. Nice read. Thank you for sharing.:)
