Dr. Lisa Niles Reign of Terror (General Hospital)
Has Dr. Lisa Niles (Brianna Brown) reign of terror finally come to and end on the ABC daytime serial, General Hospital?
Dr. Lisa Niles Reign of Terror
After being jilted by Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) after a mistaken one-night stand with college buddy, Dr. Lisa Niles, that almost cost Patrick his marriage to Dr. Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough), Lisa began a months-long stalking spree in a desperate attempt to get Patrick to see that he wasn't happy with his marital life to Robin. Lisa was clever in making it look like Robin was the one that was unhinged as she continued to cause terror at General Hospital where they work.
Viewers thought it was over when Patrick and Robin came together to devise a scheme that would put Lisa in sanitarium and it looked like it worked, until Lisa somehow escaped. After being rejected by Johnny (Zacchara, Brandon Barash), Lisa got help from Johnny's father, Anthony (Zacchara, Bruce Weitz) to terrorize everyone at the hospital that she thought "hurt" her.
Lisa, dressed as a security guard, came out sporting a gun and fired a shot. Lucky (Spencer, Jonathon Jackson), being the cop that he is, tried to reach for his gun, but Lisa caught on and demanded he slowly put it to the ground and kick it over to her, which he calmly did. Then, Chief of Staff, Dr. Steve (Webber, Scott Reeves) pushed the button on the hospital computer that put the hospital in lockdown. This angered Lisa as she ordered Patrick, Robin, Steve and Maxie (Jones, Kiersten Storms) into the conference room and Damian (Spinelli, Bradford Anderson) and Lucky into the elevator.
Once everyone was in conference room, Lisa began a judge-jury trial with her as the judge and jury over the "crimes" of Patrick, Robin, Steve and Maxie in an attempt to get "justice" for her. While this is going on, Lucky's wife, Siobhan (McKenna-Spencer, Erin Chambers) has just been brought to surgery after having been brought to the hospital due to being trapped in a fire, incidentally started by Lucky, and Dr. Matt (Hunter, Jason Cook) and Elizabeth (Webber, temporarily played by Martha Madison) desperately operating on Siobhan during this lockdown.
Lucky thinks that Spinelli is looking for a way to crack the passcode to lift the hospital lockdown, but Spinelli is looking at the hospital ventilation to find a way into the conference room. Just as Lisa is aiming the gun at Maxie, because she didn't like what Maxie said to her, Spinelli jumps out of the ceiling and blocks Lisa's aim. After another remarked made by Maxie, Lisa aims at Maxie and Spinelli jumps in front of Maxie, taking the bullet to his chest, and bleeding profusely. Lisa, refusing to let the doctors help Spinelli, continues her farce of a trial as Spinelli lies there dying from his wound.
Outside, Dante (Falconeri, Dominic Zamprogna) and Jason (Morgan, Steve Burton) desperately looking for a way to stop Lisa, finally burst into the conference room and in the commotion, Patrick is shot in the arm by Lisa. After the commotion, Lisa runs out of the conference room, but Dante manages to catch her and knock her to the floor, unconscious. Spinelli is rushed into surgery for his wound while Robin is calling another doctor to look at Patrick's arm. Unseen, Lisa regains consciousness and while holding a syringe, that she earlier filled with drain cleaner, grabs Robin while holding the syringe. Patrick manages to get Robin out of harms way and struggles with Lisa to get her to drop the syringe, but in the end, Lisa gives up and injects it into herself.
Later, Spinelli makes it through the surgery and Lisa is currently in a coma. So, is Dr. Lisa Niles' reign of terror over?
