It is strange that Teri Meri Kahaani did not do great business. The film had been directed by Kunal Kohli. It has been produced by Vivek Oberoi, Vicky Bahri and Sunil Lulla. Sajid Wajid had composed the music for the film.
Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra played the lead characters of three ages, one in 1910, the other in 1960 and the third in 2012.
In 1910, the love story was shown in a village in Lahore. Shahid Kapoor loved Priyanka Chopra, the daughter of a Punjabi freedomfighter. Shahid Kapoor went to jail for anti-state activity against British Officer. During that time Priyanka’s father got her married to a person. But her husband died and Shahid Kapoor eventually married Priyanka Chopra.
In 1960, Shahid Kapoor came to Mumbai to succeed as singer and composer. He lived opposite the house of Prachi Desai. He fell in love with the actress played by Priyanka Chopra. The love story faced obstacle as both Prachi Desai and Priyanka Chopra loved the same person Shahid Kapoor. Eventually Priyanka Chopra married Shahid Kapoor.
The music of the film had been excellent.
In 2012, Shahid Kapoor entered into affair with Priyanka Chopra in the University of Nottingham in UK. The love story faced hurdle as Neha Sharma also loved Shahid Kapoor. Ultimately both got separated the love story got proper direction.
Sajid Wajid’s excellent music entertained the audience. Wajid’s song “mukhtasar” had been smash hit. Sonu Nigaam and Sunidhi Chauhan’s song “jab se mere dil ko uff” also brought in the rock and roll andaz of the 1960s. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s song “allah jaane” was also impressive. Inspite of everything the film did a business of only 30 crores in the first few days. Both Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra’s performance is worth seeing. Viewers should watch the film.

Composer Sajid Wajid had given excellent tunes in both the films Rowdy Rathore and Teri Meri Kahaani.
