Kumar Shanu and Alka Yagnik stormed Zee Bangla Saregamapa Program on 25th July, 2012. Both of them sang their songs of successful films. In fact both of them had sung more than 400 duet songs together.
They had excellent chemistry between themselves. Jishu Sengupta brought the different participants of the program before the judges Kumal Shanu, Alka Yagnik, Kunal Ganjawala and Joy Sarkar.
Alka Yagnik talked about her experience in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.
There was a participant from Bangladesh. She said she was missing Hilsa fish in Kolkata. The bangal language was very sweet and Kumar Shanu mentioned that he liked the language.
A participant sung Alka Yagnik's song in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Joy Sarkar said he had brilliant memories in the film. He came to know about all the brilliant stars who started their journey with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Anand Milind, all were new and fresh and became famous over the years. Alka Yagnik also cherished her memories of the same film. She said when she used to do the recording, she never liked anyone sit in front of her. Aamir Khan sat in front of her in the recording of the song in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. She asked Aamir Khan to go. At that time she never knew him. But later came to know that he was the main actor of the film.
