Rituparna Sengupta and team of Charulata 2011 stormed Zee Bangla Dadagiri Program on 1st March, 2012. Superstar Mithun Chakravarty brought all the members of the Charulata 2011 in the show.
Mithun asked Rituparna how much similarity was there with the character of Charulata made by Satyajit Ray in 1964. She said there was no similarity. That character played by Madhabi Mukherjee was based on the literature of Rabindranath Tagore.
Charulata 2011 is about the story of a lonely woman played by Rituparna Sengupta. Her husband is a busy person and has no time to entertain her. She got involved with another person other than her husband because her husband had no time for her.
Superstar Mithun Chakravarty promoted the film.
The other major role played in the film was by veteran actor Arjun Chakravarty. The singer Subhamita came to the show. She sang the song “dekhecho ki aage”. The director of the film also was present. Mithun Chakravarty promoted the film and wished the entire team of Charulata 2011 best of luck.

Both the director of the film Charulata 2011, Agnideb Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta were present Mithun Chakravarty's Dadagiri Program. Rituparna Sengupta said there were certain scenes of exposure in the film, but that was done due to the requirement of the story.

Rituparna Sengupta also came in Zee Bangla Rannaghar program on 2nd March, 2012 where Sudipa Mukherjee teaches the art of cooking dishes. She taught marich chicken.

Agnideb Chatterjee , sir very cute direction superb charactorisation , but i dont bengali after watching the film i read some of the review and i got clear picture of the film,
