In anticipation of Roger Howarth coming back to ABC's Daytime Soap Opera, One Life to Live, rumors have been speculating that he would be back to reprise the role he created, Todd Manning. But where would that leave his predecessor, Trevor St. John, who took over the role in 2003, when Roger Howarth vacated the role?

In anticipation of Roger Howarth coming back to ABC's Daytime Soap Opera, One Life to Live, rumors have been speculating that he would be back to reprise the role he created, Todd Manning. But where would that leave his predecessor, Trevor St. John, who took over the role in 2003, when Roger Howarth vacated the role?
Well, it looks like Todd Manning fans finally have their answer. It seems as if Todd Manning's mother, Irene Manning had twin boys. Todd Manning's father, Victor Lord, let Irene know that he would not accept another child (Irene also gave birth to Todd's sister, Tina--who was played by Andrea Evans), so Irene gave Todd Manning to the father who raised Todd, Peter Manning, and Irene raised the other one, whom she named, Victor Lord, Jr.
Apparently, Mitch Laurence (strong cult leader in Llanview) had severely beaten Todd Manning and left him for dead and that is when Irene had Todd brought to CIA headquarters. That's when the two Todd Mannings met together for the first time. In a bold move, Irene brainwashed Victor Lord, Jr. and fed Victor Todd Manning's memories in an attempt to have Victor Lord, Jr. take over Todd's life, even going so far as to placing a exact replica of the scar that Todd Manning received years ago. The original Todd Manning has been held prisoner for the last 8 years, beaten and tortured.
The 8-17-11 episode of One Life to Live will reveal which actor, Roger Howarth or Trevor St. John, is Todd Manning and his twin brother, Victor Lord, Jr.
