I guess most of the readers reading this articles do have or had pets in their homes and have named their pets. Whether it is a dog or a cat or anything, you give them a name by which you call them. Anyways, people name their pets also after the names of various celebrities, like I have a dog whose name is Harry which so happened to be the name of the prince of England as well as a fictional character Harry Potter.

Tyson (Mike) – I suppose many of you have heard the name of any pet that is Tyson which so happened to be the name of a celebrity, Mike Tyson who is a renowned boxer.
Harry ( Harry Potter or Prince Harry) – There are names of pen with this name too which is very popular celebrity pet names which could either be after the celebrity prince of UK, prince Harry or the fictional wizard character of J.K. Rowling Harry Potter.
Ozzy (Osbourne) – The name Ozzy which is the name of the singer Ozzy Osbourne is also a very popular celebrity pet name kept for pets like dogs, cats, and even apes and pet birds.
Robbie (Robbie Williams) – The name Robbie is also the name of a pet, which is another famous celebrity pet name after the celebrity singer Robbie Williams.
Rooney (Wayne) – This celebrity pet name Rooney ranks fifth in this list of the names of pets that are named after celebrities.
Beckham (David) – Beckham is another name of a pet from a celebrity, a famous football player, David Beckham. So if you are planning to name your pet, you can name is Beckham too.

I have named my cats Camus, Kafka, Rilke..
these are authors names.

My dog's name was Hugo. Full name was Hugo Boss. I'm not sure is Hugo Boss was somebody's name though. :o

Bugg was a couple months old when we got him.
Bugg and I were sitting on the bed one night when my son walked in.
Bugg jumped up on my back and tried to nurse on the collar of my night gown and I said "Stop you're bugging me" and my son said, "That's it, that's his name".
It has fit ever since. In the most loving way, of course.
