Nine singers are pared down to only four as "The Voice" reveals the four finalists in a brutal elimination. Did all of the coaches get a singer in the finals?

Finalists Revealed

It's the most dramatic episode of the season on “The Voice” when over half of the singers will be eliminated to determine which four singers will be moving on to compete in the finals for the title of “The Voice” of season nine.

After their performances last night eight of the nine singers found their way into the top 10 of the iTunes overall singles chart with one artist dethroning Adele to take over the number one spot. And when the show went on the air at 8pm eastern time Tuesday night...they were still there.

Season three winner Casadee Pope returns to “The Voice” stage to perform her newest single “I Am Invincible”.

On Tuesday he nine remaining artists met with Country music legend Dolly Parton who had a few words for the singers; adding that she was thrilled to hear Emily Ann Roberts perform her song last night.

Host Carson Daly revealed that the show had the most votes in the history of the show.

In the first results of the night...the first artist moving on to the finals is team Adam's Jordan Smith – the man who toppled Adele from the top of the iTunes chart.

In the next results, the artist joining Jordan Smith in the finals is team Blake's Emily Ann Roberts who thrilled Dolly Parton with her performance of “9 to 5” on performance night.

Dolly Parton comes to “The Voice” stage to perform her favourite song of hers - “Coat of Many Colors”. Her guitar is a patchwork design like the coat in her song.

Time for more results; and the last artist saved by fan vote is team Blake's Barret Baber.

The final finalist will be revealed via the final Twitter fan save of the season.

But only three of the remaining six artists will get the opportunity to sing for the fan Twitter vote – Jeffrey Austin, Madi Davis, and Zach Seabaugh. Shelby Brown, Amy Vachal, and Braiden Sunshine have been eliminated from the competition.

With Zach Seabaugh in the competition for the Twitter fan save, Blake has the opportunity to have all three of his artists in the finals this season. Blake is a four time “The Voice” winner.

Up first is Zach Seabaugh with “Live Like You Were Dying” by Tim McGraw – a song he wrote about his father former major league baseball pitcher Tug McGraw. Blake called Zach a star and a great Country singer.

Up next was Madi Davis sang “Don't Dream it's Over”. Coach Pharrell noted that America loves Madi Davis; adding that it is a Madi Davis night.

Finally it's time for Jeffrey Austin to perform and he chose “Make it Rain”. The performance brought tears to coach Gwen Stefani's eyes. She said his talent for singing is unbelievable.

The final singer moving on to the season nine finale of “The Voice” is...

...Jeffrey Austin!

Blake, Adam, and Gwen will all have singers in the finale next week.
