Sudipa Mukherjee had remained the star attraction of the Cookery Show Rannaghar shown in Zee TV Bangla. The program is shown on all the days at 5 pm in Zee Bangla Television Channel.

On 6th September, 2011, she had called a cook to display the art of cooking Koi Paturi. The dish was a Bengali delicacy related to a fish named Koi. The fish was very famous in Jessore in Bangladesh. In fact renowned scholar Iswarchandra Bidyasagar was called Joshure Koi due to his large head. Koi fish has a head which is larger than the body.

The guest showed Sudipa Mukherjee, that all the ingredients like Chilli powder, Haldi Powder, Coconut powder, sugar and salt are supposed to be mixed in a bowl. Then the fish is supposed to be cooked with oil in a non-stick pan. The mixture of the spices are supposed to be poured on the fish.

The guest used both green chilli powder and red chilli powder. Bengali dishes are cooked with mustard powder. After the fish is cooked it is supposed to be covered in banana leaf. That completes the dish of Koi Paturi. Paturi can also be made with Hilsa fish and Bhetki Fish.

The beauty of Sudipa Mukherjee lies in explaining the art of cooking in layman’s language common viewers. She had invited many celebrities, given them lot of prizes and really had conducted the program in style. She had even sung songs in the program. Viewers wish her to continue the great show.

Rumi Chatterji "The fish has to be cooked in Banana leaf itself as a steamed fish. On top of the fish also banana leaf is to be given. Then it has to be cooked in steam after it is covered by lid. It can also be cooked in a microwave by putting the banana leaf inside it. Before serving mustard oil should be poured on top of it."
