In London Olympics 2012, India set to 2 silver and 4 bronze medals. India’s luck cried for the gold medal. India won 2 medals in freestyle wrestling, 1 medal in rapid fire pistol event, 1 medal in flying weight boxing, 1 medal in air rifle event and 1 medal in single’s badminton. Totally India won 6 medals in London Olympics 2012 and occupied 55th position in “Medals Tally”

1. Sushil kumar won the silver medal in men’s 66 kg freestyle wrestling, becoming the first Indian to win an individual medal at two Olympic Games.
