Premier leagues best ever striker

The choice for best premier league player ever can comes down to opinion but the number and performances never lie. Many will always argue and favour certain players down to style and the club they played for, this page has chosen the best in the world based on the statistic of goals scored and trophies won.

These three players for me really stood out in their career by leading their club and shining in almost every game they played.

3, Eric Cantona
The Manchester united legend brought by Alex Ferguson for £1.2million inspired the team to their first league win since 1967! Alongside Alex Ferguson I feel like Cantona was half the reason of the rise to Manchester united, for this reason alone he shines as a leader and part reason of the rise. Eric Cantona lifted Manchester United to a new level.

2. Alan Shearer
The English legend in his Premier league rein played for Southampton, Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle. Shearer stands alone with the record for most goals in the premier league with a staggering 260! Shearer was living proof that an English boy can rise to be a legendary footballer.

1. Thierry Henry
The undeniable best striker in the Premier leagues history. Henry didn't score as many goals as many strikers in the premier league but still scored 175. The reason for Henry being the best is the short time period he scored this many. Eight years at Arsenal and lead them to a flawless unbeaten season and lead the club to their greatest ever reign and trophy wins.

He who says he can and he who says he can't are both usually right.

You make some valid points, but I could think of at least a dozen more names that also need some consideration. It is tough to pick.

Yeah I can too but I just wanted to state my top 3 :). I could replace third but second and first are the best.
