The bad phase of the Indian Premier League continues with yet another shameful thing to its credit.

Two IPL Players Involved in a Rave Party?

In all probabilities a couple of players from the Indian Premier League (IPL), might be involved in a rave party in Mumbai. However, for some technical reasons, the police have not disclosed the names of the players. This is another major news that is on the wrong side for the IPL.
When on one hand there is the bright spot with nearly 17 to 20 matches being over in the last over around five of them off the last ball of the match, this year’s IPL season will also be remembered for all the wrong reasons. First there was the Shah Rukh Khan spat with the Mumbai Cricket Association security officials.
It was followed by the molestation charges on Australian cricketer Luke Pomersbach.
Coming back to the rave party issue, the two players in question was a foreigner and the other represented the Pune Warriors team. It is suspected that items like cocaine and drugs might have been used in the party.
The police did not go ahead to reveal the name as they wanted to ascertain if the players had themselves chosen to use the banned drugs. Naturally, medical tests would first be conducted and only then the facts could be ascertained.
However, police have named two players who are a part of the current IPL season for their respective teams. They are Wayne Parnell and Rahul Sharma. To check facts of their active participation, the urine as well as blood samples were collected.
It would also be mandatory for the two players to present themselves whenever they are required for questioning. Rahul Sharma made it clear that he had come there to attend a birthday party and that he had nothing to do with the rave party going on at the same time.
While Rahul Sharma tired to clear the air surrounding his involvement, Wayne Parnell was not available to tell his side of the story.
In the meantime, one of the accused in the case, Rahul Sharma has taken an attacking stance in the entire episode. He has said that if he is found guilty of consuming drugs, he is ready to quit cricket. This is no doubt a bold statement from a player who has not even started his international career. Yes, he has played
The son of a sub-inspector is dead sure of his innocence. He further said that he has strong cultural background and he never touched alcohol in his life.
